Epic as fuck.
Well done sir.

EPIC

Drums are insane, punchy and epic
Your first synth is really metallic and catchy
The insane WOW synth sounds EPIC when it first kicks in
The whole track is fuckin' amazing...love it

TIMarbury responds:

thanks alot :) glad you liked it

NOICE!!

This is gotta be my favourite out of all your dnb tracks!
All the themes intertwine so smoothly with eachother...achieving like a really ominous vibe throughout
I'm loving the bit in the beginning, with the kind of reversed glass sound (i'm guessing thats what it is)
And i love it when the drums first start hitting, really exciting the way it jumps out of this supposedly calm and safe mood
When the main theme kicks in, there's a kind of atmospheric flush of sound, and it sounds so full - the drums work perfectly with it all (sort of very cymbal-ey)
The outro is amazing too, i just can't think of anything thats done badly in this whole track! You've managed to maintain a pretty high level of excitement throughout, and the whole track is just so unique and original!
The song reminds me a little of 'In the house, in a heartbeat' by John Murphy - the way it kind of builds up on this ominous theme, getting thicker and thicker in texture, then ending on this epic, full section with the drums
The whole thing is great - lookin' forward to hearing your next track on soundcloud :)

Afterfall responds:

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! And I love that song haha.

BOOM

NICE!! Some original dubstep here
I fuckin love it when the tempo doubles - some insane tunage here
The way you've done the synths on Massive is pretty impressive, but your rhythms are INSANE - what main software are you using (Ableton, FL Studio etc.)??
Shame this is your last :(

WOW

this is one of the best things i've heard on here, seriously
out of interest, what song did you sample?
AND i REALLY have to know how you did this?? did you use an external sequencer like NI Maschine or something?
PLEASE help me here

Anti-Citizen responds:

I sampled it from this stupid little video (its at the end) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-eits utpOc

What i did is i took the bits from the song i liked and cut and copied them to something i was happy with.
I used mostly inhouse FL Studio VST's and the "Glitch" VST for a lot of things. no external Hardware was used. :)

INSANE!!!!!!

Great guitar riffs, although i thought the solo could have been worked on (wider range of notes - maybe some variation in scales e.g. aeolian scale would work here)

I have to ask: how do you get your guitar parts sounding so clear and clean (still distortion effect obviously) ?? ive got a line 6 pod 2.0 and a firewire interface, and ive only recorded one song on NG, but the rhythm guitar is unclear, overly distorted and not heavy enough...and i don't know what to do??

Also, you use real drum recording or programmed drums?

Nice stuff :)
